Milcho Manchevski, born October 18, 1959 in Skopje, Macedonia, Yugoslavia, is a motion picture writer and director. He is an episode director for the first season of The Wire and helmed the ninth episode "Game Day". He has been active since 1985 and has also worked on the films Before the Rain (1994), Dust (2001), Shadows (2007), and Mothers (2010).
