It uses psychoactive venom to send its victims into a dream world while it devoures them. A psych worm came out of the ground near the U.S.-Mexican border in late 2010, hitting Helen Magnus and Will Zimmerman with its venom and causing them to be locked in a psychoactive dream world for three days. The Sanctuary Network was able to capture the creature and take it to Virgil St. Pierre's lab in New Mexico.
