Maw was a member of the Reborn Sith Order. During the attack on Yavin IV, Maw was cut in half by Jacen Solo. He survived, however, and was connected to a repulsorlift. Along with Boc Aseca, he was sent as an emissary to the Hutts. He was killed by Mara Jade Skywalker.
