Jason Amir Head was conceived by Elektra and Ra's al Ghul. Though his parents did love each other, they weren't attempting to have a child because of that love. Ra's had come to Elektra because of a project of his that he had been working on for years. Jason was born in order to become part of that plan, though Ra's underestimated what would happen to the stonewall killer that was Elektra after she was pregnant and carried to term a baby.
