The Majin Tensei (魔神転生?, lit. "Demon God Reincarnation") series is one of the smaller sub-series within the Megami Tensei franchise. This series completely changes the style of gameplay from other games in the franchise, taking a SRPG-style gameplay as opposed to most Megami Tensei games. The first game is notable for its highly detailed battle screen showing monsters during battles.
