EnDrain is a recurring spell as well as the status effect causes by that spell, which allows attacks to which it is applied to absorb a portion of the damage inflicted on an enemy. The damage inflicted by the additional effect is usually Dark, but it may be a special damage type, Drain, which means it can be resisted independent of the attack's main damage type. The "EnDrain" line of spells adds EnDrain to all regular attacks of the user, as well as to any other attack using the enchanted main weapon, or an off-hand weapon in the case of dual wielders. Various tiers exist on the basis of the spell's scope and potency. Some weapons or ammunition types may possess this effect naturally, in which case it is applied to all attacks performed with them.
