High Stakes and Hyperspace was a gambling den located on a hangar deck level of the Wheel space station during the Galactic Civil War between the Galactic Empire and the Alliance to Restore the Republic. The interior of the den contained vidscreens which provided the only lighting and showed Ronto racing and gladiatorial matches for viewers to bet on, as well as tables for sabacc, dejarik or chance cubes. At the tables holograms of Togruta waitresses took orders for drinks from customers and set up the games. The den's bookie was a Duros named Jokol who also took drink orders as well as wagers from customers, with whom he often made gruff small talk if they were betting.
