An Orange Shirt is the name given to a guest at CHERUB campus on account of the high visibility orange t-shirt they are required to wear. This shirt is designed to warn people that they are in the presence of someone who might not have full security clearance and may not be aware of what CHERUB does. A CHERUB agent who talks to an orange shirt without authorisation from the Chairman can expect to be severely punished. The only people that have had a big deal made about their recruitment is James Adams in The Recruit and Fahim Bin Hassam in The Sleepwalker.
