The 1968 Tangerine Bowl was held on December 27, 1968 at the Citrus Bowl in Orlando, Florida. The Richmond Spiders of the Southern Conference defeated the Ohio Bobcats of the Mid-American Conference by a score of 49–42. The Tangerine Bowl is a former name of what is now called the Capital One Bowl. After the loss, the Bobcats would finished #20 in the final AP Poll.
