K'vyr was a male Klingon engineer who served aboard the IKS Terthos in 2287. That year, while the ship was at Starbase 49, a saboteur attached a photon torpedo to the Terthos's hull. K'vyr, with the assistance of Montgomery Scott, detached a section of hull to prevent significant damage to the Klingon ship. (TOS novel: In the Name of Honor)
