The Lepri were a Xa Fel-based cult who became fanatically devoted to the promotion of transgenic and cybernetic life-forms and the extermination of organic life. They believed that they had been commanded by the god Le to punish the rest of the galaxy for the environmental damage that ravaged their home planet.
