Metameur was a city on Tatooine, located somewhere near the Desolation Canyons and a long way from the Douz outpost. It was important enough to possess its own landing platform for cargo ships. In 3 BBY, Luke Skywalker and Biggs Darklighter intended to visit Metameur in hopes of seeing a docked spaceship, but they were caught in a sandstorm while passing through the Desolation Canyons.
