The January 25-31 was the largest tornado outbreak ever in January. On January 25 a High risk was issued a EF2 hit Hattiesburg it is the costliest tornado that was below EF3 ever it caused 1 Billion dollars due to ripping the roofs of 200000 homes. January 26th brought another High Risk and saw a nighttime EF2 in Rural areas of Alabama. January 27th saw a Moderate risk and a lot of EF2 tornadoes touched down. The SPC thought that intense tornadoes could occur but on the 28th that did not happen. Finally on the 29th a EF3 touched down in rural Georgia sweeping away unanchored home the home was having a party the cell did not have indications of showing a tornado making the party not aware of the danger a DJ was playing a song when out of no were the tornado hit everyone ran to the basement
