Roundels were a form of currency used during the First Age of Flight in the Great Shryke Slave Market. When Twig offered to sell Thunderbolt Vulpoon to Mother Muleclaw during the events of Midnight Over Sanctaphrax for one hundred and fifty, a shryke asked him "Roundels or Docklets?" Twig initially said "Roundels", but, quickly realizing from the shryke's reaction that his price was ridiculously high, Twig quickly changed his offer to one hundred and fifty docklets.
