Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt-mix well in another bowl, combine egg, oil, and molasses-mix well. Add egg mixture and beer to flour mixture-stir just to blend lightly (some lumps will remain). Heat a griddle to 350 degrees (a drop of water will just dance on grill). Spoon 2 tablespoons of batter onto griddle and spread into a 3-inch circle with the back of the spoon. Heat until browned, turn, and brown on the other side remove from griddle, keep warm. Repeat with remaining batter. Serve hot.
