Corporal Koopman is a medic in Call of Duty 2: Big Red One linked with the 1st Infantry. Cpl. Koopman is seen fighting in Piano Lupo, Sicily. He is pinned down behind a flipped Army jeep with a dead soldier. He is then protected and ultimately rescued by Cpl. Roland Roger and his squad. Cpl. Koopman moves from his position as the player snipes enemy machine gunners and infantry. He is killed by an Italian submaching gunner while treating a wounded soldier.
