2007 Samsung 500 was a Nextel Cup (now Sprint Cup) event held at Texas Motor Speedway on April 15, 2007. Jeff Gordon appeared to be well on his way to victory, but with twenty laps to go scraped the wall coming off turn four. Matt Kenseth and Jeff Burton controlled the race after that, with Burton making the thrilling final-lap pass for the victory.
