The wand owned by Anna Chu is made of a staff of willow (Salix) wood imbued with a core of dragon-heartstring. The wand was purchased by Chu at Hoargrim's Wands and Alchemical Supplies from Mr. Finsterholz in August of 2007. Professor Hobbes inquired after the composition of Chu's wand in September of 2010 when Chu expressed reservations about transfiguring live animals into inanimate objects.
