The ZZ-class freighter was a freighter of an unknown design. It had a long and thin shape. Despite its great size, the class could be operated by a crew of as few as four. Mingula was a ZZ-class freighter chartered to transport the remains of Volpau, a cousin of Emperor Palpatine, to Coruscant to undergo ritual incineration, along with his many possessions. It was discovered drifting in open space by Boba Fett after the crew was killed by an infestation of Ubuugan fleshborers in 1 ABY; to escape the creatures, Fett was forced to ignite the vessel's fuel cells and destroy it.
