Vulcan Compounds or Vulcan Consulates were Vulcan residential and diplomatic facilities on Earth as of the 22nd century. Commander Trip Tucker lived a few blocks from the Vulcan Compound in Sausalito when he first joined Starfleet in 2139. He once sarcastically remarked that there were "great parties at the Vulcan Compound." While visiting Earth during the mid-22nd century, Doctor Phlox attempted to familiarize himself with many of the planet's religions.
