The Chairman's Guard was a department of the People's Republic of Haven's Office of State Security, responsible for the protection of the Chairman of the Committee of Public Safety. The Chairman's Guard, Capital Security, Committee Security, and Presidential Security were all part of StateSec and tasked with guarding the core leadership, but were intentionally isolated from each other to prevent an uprising. But the separation pf each department led to confusion and an inability to properly coordinate during the Leveler Uprising. (HHA1.3: AWoG)
