This is the 1985 section of the Press Your Luck episode guide. The show's popularity would hit its ultimate peak sometime in the summer, possibly because of some new elements that enhanced Sale of the Century, which may have resulted in viewers tuning in to NBC in that time slot. Press Your Luck tried to reboost ratings with the addition of Add-a-One in Round 1, and the final Home Player Sweepstakes with the Giant Sweepstakes Spin to close it out. Sometime in 1985, CBS was considering adding a big money game show to its schedule, and a revival of Card Sharks was one of the contenders. Card Sharks debuted on January 6, 1986.
