Cyril Luckham (25th July, 1907 - 8th February, 1989) played Dr. Tinsley in several early episodes of Coronation Street. Elsewhere in his career he co-starred in the first episode of Tales of the Unexpected, twice played The White Guardian in Doctor Who and had recurring roles in The Venturers and The Cedar Tree His career spanned forty years and included film and stage work along with a large body of television work. He appeared alongside Kenneth Cope in an episode of Randall & Hopkirk (Deceased).
