The PowerBook 1400 ATA Flash Extension is an extension which corrects a problem which can crop up with certain ATA Flash PCMCIA cards. Users that use ATA Flash PCMCIA cards on a PowerBook 1400 should install the extension. (Flash cards are often used with digital cameras.) Version 1.0 of the PowerBook 1400 ATA Flash Extension was released on March 10, 1997, and requires Mac OS 7.5.3 or later.
