The Flortarios sector is a sector between both Federation and Cardassian space. It is a very tiny sector, home to the the Flortarios star system and the trade planet, Flortarios III. In 2374, Flame Squad was assigned to the Flortarios sector to protect it against Dominion forces. When the war was over, most of Flame Squad remained stationed there for at least a year as a look out for anymore danger - but the lead ship, the USS Phoenix-X left to take on further missions.
