Duggerlo was a young member of Gruntan Kurdly's Brownrat horde. He discovered a swan's nest in the watermeadow which eventually led to Gruntan Kurdly's death; the egg-loving chieftain, desiring the only egg he had never tasted, swan, ordered Duggerlo to lead him to the nest. Gruntan tried to climb into the nest, tipping the fully grown swan occupant onto himself, which lead to an instant death.
