The Kingdom of Holindale had remained a mystery for the freelands for a long time as the magical forest had denied access to any strangers for the good first few hundred years of world history. Eventually the elves' magic faded and the forest became known to the other kingdoms. The ancient forest spirits and tree guardians would still be patrolling the forests to scare away the enemies of nature.
