The Song That We Sing is the song that Morton the Elephant Bird, Horton the Elephant and Annie DeLoo sing for the pageant even when they didn't have an audience. Through out the town everyone hears them and they come after all to see the show. Even the cast that were in the pageant hear them and helps out in singing and playing their insterments. As it's time for Morton's big Klinking moment he thinks he can't do it till Annie said those words of wisdom, "We Don't Know What We Can Do Until We Try." And he did it after all.
