It is the known residence of Sidney Prescott, Tatum Riley, Dewey Riley, Randy Meeks, Billy Loomis, Stu Macher, and Casey Becker. Even though Gale Weathers is a reporter in the Woodsboro area, it is not known weather she lives there or not, but it is still safe to say that she does. Since Sidney moved to Northern California in Scream 3 to get away from the horror of Woodsboro and filming was partly done in Sonoma County, it can be speculated that it is located in Southern California.
