Cyanide is a single from Metallica's latest album "Death Magnetic," where the whole album can be downloaded for Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock and Guitar Hero: World Tour, as well as Guitar Hero: Metallica. Since the album can't be downloaded on the PlayStation 2 or Wii, it will be featured in-game on those gaming systems, as well as All Nightmare Long, Broken Beat & Scarred, and My Apocalypse. It was played live over a month before the album's release, making it the first track heard from the album, although The Day that Never Comes was the first single, released roughly 2 weeks later. It's structured like a standard Metallica track, featuring a wah pedal in the main riff and interesting guitar solos with the wah pedal, even a short sample in the solo from the solo of the previous track
