There are several important positions and groups within the SDP: * The High Council of Delegates - The High Council of Delegates is a group of the 13 highest ranking political members of the SDP. They are the members who are put forward to serve in the Consulate, and are also important as they are the members who determine policy of the party for forthcoming debates and votes within the Chamber of Delegates. * The Premier - The Premier is the Leader of the High Council of Delegates and therefore is also the Overall Party Leader. It is an elected position, with elections taking place every 4 years and being voted for by all party members. The Premier is automatically put forward as the candidate for the Chairman of the Consulate of Saridan. * The Party Convener - The Party Convene
