Advantage Points are awarded to a player every so often (usually in 2s) to be used to upgrade existing powers. Currently with the level cap at 40, players will receive at total of 36 Advantage Points throughout their characters 'life'. Advantage Points can be spent to upgrade a power to the next level (at the cost of two points) or spend on upgrading a powers other abilities for added effects, such as giving it an area of effect or healing abilities.
