Darwell is a well respected sage who lives in Talla, and who is in fact a necromancer and demon worshiper. He has summoned a demon and is obtaining information from said demon. The demon is far more powerful than Darwell knows and is releasing information in order to manipulate Darwell's actions for his own goals. Darwell also associates with a group of powerful necromancers. Darwell lives in an adobe tower with a high, flat wooden roof, from which he observes the stars.
