Doc Static is Mickey's recurring overweight, clean-shaven inventor friend with lab coat, wavy hair and glasses who appeared in Disney comic books. He is Gyro Gearloose's counterpart in current Mickey Mouse stories (while in earlier stories, Mickey was often seen with Gyro Gearloose, or even Ludwig Von Drake).
