Barry Herriot was a Starfleet enlisted crewman and a security officer aboard Deep Space 9. Herriot was from Australia. In 2385, Captain Ro Laren sent Crewman Herriot aboard the USS Aventine to invite Ezri Dax and Sam Bowers to a memorial service aboard the new Deep Space 9 to remember those who had been killed in the destruction of the the first Deep Space 9 space station.
