The Troida Disruptor was a shield disrupting weapon developed at the Troida Military Workshop. It was very effective, but required enough energy to power an entire city to work properly. During the Galactic War members of Balmorran resistance used the Disruptor to take down the shields over the Imperial-controlled city of Sobrik, allowing the Republic forces to take the city.
