Miranda Bell appeared in Coronation Street in March 2013 as the Judge at the trial of Tyrone Dobbs for assaulting Kirsty Soames. She has also appeared in Harriet's Back in Town, Barlow, The Sweeney, Shoestring, Lytton's Diary, As Time Goes By, The Bill, Silent Witness, Doctors and the film The Imitation Game. For one year, she was in the cast of the West End record-breaker The Mousetrap playing Miss Casewell, a role also played in the same production by her daughter, Natasha Rickman, twenty-seven years later.
