Batman 3 (tentative title) is a superhero film currently being developed by Christopher Nolan, David S. Goyer, and Jonathan Nolan. The proposed film will be the sequel to 2005's Batman Begins and 2008's universally acclaimed blockbuster hit The Dark Knight and will be released in the United States on July 20, 2012 by Warner Brothers Pictures. The film is based on fictional DC Comics character Batman and will be the third installment of Nolan's Batman film series. This film has yet to be finalized.
