Andrew Hartley Dismore (born 2 September 1954) is a Labour Party politician. He has been a member of the London Assembly representing Barnet and Camden Constituency since 2012, having previously been member of parliament for Hendon from 1997-2010. Born in Yorkshire, Dismore qualified as solicitor. In 1982 he was elected to Westminster City Council as one of three councillors representing Westbourne Ward. Re-elected to 1990 and 1994, he became leader of the Labour opposition group on the council. He resigned his seat on being elected to parliament.
