The Blade of Bone was a sword given to Jethiss by the Forkrul Assail of the Salt Peaks on Assail. He had requested they give him a weapon "worthy of us Andii...Worthy to protect us" after the loss of Anomander Rake and his sword, Dragnipur. The pommel of the sword was "an oddly contoured knob". It and the grip were forged from a pale ivory-like material that was smooth in parts and rough and porous in others. Kyle was horrified to realize the materials came from Jethiss' now missing arm.
