Graceful Phoenix Theater at Nikesake had several stages, costume and prop shops, and a large warehouse. Noh, Kabuki, and puppet plays were performed there, along with poetry readings, musical performances, and acrobatic displays. Troupes of entertainers refined their plays there before taking them to more demanding audiences.
