Remaining loyal to the Imperial Ruling Council after the disaster at Endor in 4 ABY, he was made the overall chief of naval operations for the central government. His personal fleet consisted of thirty Imperial-class and Victory II-class Star Destroyers, forty Dreadnaught-class cruisers, and sixty Lancer-class frigates. He defended the Ruling Council from warlords and the New Republic with this large force.
