Silne Koryn was a Bajoran woman. Silne lived on Terok Nor in the last years of the Occupation of Bajor, during which time she was involved romantically with a Cardassian mining executive. Due to her close ties to the Cardassians, she remained on the station when it became Deep Space 9, believing those on Bajor considered her a collaborator and a whore. Additionally, all of her family had died due to the Occupation. Silne opened a curio shop on the Promenade, which sold Bajoran religious relics and souvenirs. Silne found comfort in listening to religious chants and music. (DS9 novel: Valhalla)
