Dread Points were acquired by completing Dread Challenges. DreadZone contestants' reputations were based on their Dread Point number count. With enough Points (and Medals), contestants were able to advance to new planets or unlock new tournaments in the Battledome. The total number of points could be seen from the Rank-o-Meter, which was located in the center of Ratchet's containment suite.
