The Doom Seed is a biological weapon created by Doctor Robotnik. It is a giant plant seed that is capable of sprouting roots powerful enough to overwhelm the Metropolis Zone. The seed is also sentient; the presence of anyone trying to destroy it will bring it to life, causing it to attack with its long vines.
