Randy Marsh is arrested for drinking while driving and is court ordered to attend the Alcoholics Anonymous support group for two weeks. The other members convince him he has a disease, which then causes him to believe his alcoholism is a terminal illness. He begins using a wheelchair and uses his new disease as an excuse for his alcohol abuse.
