Ken Farrington (born 18th April 1936 in Dulwich, London, England) playing Tom King between 2004 and 2006. The character left during Christmas 2006 in a now-famous storyline in which an unknown assailant pushed him out of a window to his death; the assailant revealed to be the character's own son Carl. Ken is also famous for playing Billy Walker in Coronation Street sporadically between 1961 and 1984. He also had a regular role in the now-defunct Channel 5 soap Family Affairs, playing Jack Gates in 1997 and 1998.
