The Mayflower Police Department, occasionally referred to as the MPD or the Capital Police, is the main law enforcement agency in Mayflower. It was formed in 2004 during the construction of the new city and has now reached a staff of 17,000 officers. Occasionally, the Mayflower Police Department will work along side the National Investigation Service and in times of national crisis, the United Republic Army. The MPD is the second most well-trained police force in Liberty, just behind the New York Police Department.
