At least one such creature was held by Togar in his laboratory on P4X-884. He was able to materialize the animal inside a containment device. Togar used the animal to show SG-1 how he moved the implant containing Urgo into a person's brain without harming them. After this demonstration he let the animal disappear. (SG1: "Urgo")
