female cats dont spray only males that cat has to be male or its not house trained i know trust me. In response to the above statement,female cats can and do spray. Right now I have issues with two female cats, both spayed, spraying through my home. My 5 year old cat has begun spraying in response to the neighbors cat spraying throughout the house. In their cases, it is a territorial cause and I have yet to find a way to stop them. Prior to the neighbours cat moving in I had no problems with my cat spraying.
